Dear Summer,

We got off to an ugly start last year. You were a REAL BITCH!... Lucky for us we didn't just give up on each other and ended up having a wicked time. We became the best of friends and I must say.. you were pretty good to me! It was the summer of break ups and make ups! Crying, Laughing, Forbiddens, and a shit load of alcohol! Although the crazy mix of ups and downs were exciting, I trust that you'll be extra good to me this year. This year you'll meet my boyfriend. Even if it's just for a little while. I think you'll be pretty impressed with my catch ;) He's a keeper! He's gunna keep us on our toes and sometimes I might neglect you and spend endless hours in my room talking to him, but don't worry we've got BIG plans this year. We have RJ's visit, a wedding, road trips, camping, sun burns, tanning, and basically a shit load of sun to take in. You're going to see a lot of new faces, and very few old ones. From time to time we'll make plans to see old friends, but don't get your hopes up, cuz we're not gunna feel bad and loose sleep over not making it to every event in the calendar. We spent so much time doing that last year, and we don't deserve it. Let's take our time, and just go with the flow this year. Whether it's days at home cleaning or full days at work, don't ever feel unappriciated or unwanted because I love you and I just want you to know that I appriciate every second of your company. With that being said.. PLEASE take your time because I've missed you so much and I want to keep you around for a little longer this year.
